OK I think that is quite enough ! "mumbojumbo" so t speak are languages as those which we "you and I" speak so dont knock EM ! my wife is Chinese, my son is Polish (I await eager responses to that one) what we need is an approach whereby ALL NON EU citizens entering the UK are subjected to the same immigration controls as are prevalent in the US. I queued for 45 min to get into Edinburgh yet I am a UK national, I was happy to wait if it meant that controls were in place to limit illegal migration, THEY ARE NOT.

I used to be proud to be British, now I feel like I am getting B*T F****D by everyone. I pay me tax, NS cunts and some fuck wit can just say what the hell he likes just cos he can talk like that in Rajicockifuckistan !

Your last paragraph says all that needs to be said. This country doesn't need people who have nothing to contribute. That includes people who are born here as well as those who come from other countries looking for a free ride. What we need are hard working people who will be a credit to the communities in which they live and work. Unfortunately government is either too far removed to see or simply fails to acknowledge that the welfare, law and justice systems in their present state are a hinderance to the very communities which they are supposed to serve. What we see from top to bottom in our society are rewards for failure when what we should be seeing are examples of why it is beneficial to have a hard working attitude, respect for others and respect for the law of the land.

I am not totally against foreigners coming to this country,
but i do think they should participate a bit more in our
culture.
for a start they should speak English instead of their own mumbojumbo language,and wear normal clothes instead of their usual fancy dress costumes.

To a certain extent it doesn't matter who the government is in the UK, Europe now makes a lot of the rules/policies. The policies that are put forward by the Lib/Lab/Con parties tend to be fairly similar; in that they need to sit well within a Liberal, Capitalist society.

Immigration has a major impact on all of us in so many ways, some good points, some not so good. The uncontrolled immigration into Europe/UK is probably meant to happen, with the intention to replace an aging population, introduce new cultures, competition, and different ways of doing things. Unfortunately this has created some resentment, people see their world changing around them, but feel they have had no say or control over it.

The only realistic way to show opposition is through the ballot box. Yes, removing Labour would see some change, but I’m not sure as much change as people really want.

Following the recent rise in the BNP support, it is interesting to see how Labour have picked up on this, and adapted some of their policy to try and win back their supporters. Statements like ‘British jobs for British Workers’ and ‘priority to locals for social housing’. It could be suggested that votes for extreme parties may not bring the extreme parties to power, but if voted for in enough numbers, may have some influence over policies presented by people in power. Will be intersting to see if these things actually happen.

This is a complex subject and there is not enough space on this blog to cover much if it, so I guess the only thing left to say is ‘don’t let the buggers grind you down’

Wow, i've finally found some Labour hater friends; good, so i will now shout about why i hate Labour so much.
These are the reasons:
Tax.Tax.Tax.
Immigration- there is no real control, the country is TOO crouded, no one speaks english! Its terrible; its crazy in London and Birmingham. IMMIGRATION MUST STOP
Labour keep borrowing money and get us more in debt. Twats.
WE NEED INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING to increase GDP and the countrys output, this will create something called money.
STOP building houses- too much traffic and people and more houses leads to more immigrants; Stop!
Education is terrible and needs serious reform towards the national curriculum; the kids today are stupid and most of them are chavs with 6 babies.
Universitys' are too expensive (its probably done so Labour can grab more money)
The Pound needs some anti-infaltion
Reform of police powers is needed under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984; it's now a police state.
The military needs better funding, they are currently very neglected. (no im not a 'Facist' or a BNP supporter)
Increased freedom of speech is needed.
Labour needs to lose the next general election otherwise this country will be in a serious disaster; it should be considered that a slightly more right party will sort out the country. Why do people think that only upper-class people vote for conservative? People need to vote for them for them or elsewhere for a real chance in change, but LABOUR MUST NOT WIN, DON'T VOTE LABOUR. WE NEED CHANGE.

I came across this site whilst despairing about Labor fuckwits in Australia. Doesn't matter where you go, lefty wankers know how to screw things up. We were going great guns under the Conservatives here, then all these bloody air head left-tards voted in "change" in Kevin Rudd (KRudd) and in only 18 months he has blown the massive surplus we had and now we are staring down the barrel of a $200bn deficit!!! The problem with lefties is that they love the idea of their softly warm and fuzzy theories on life and the universe, they just don't want to deal with the consequences. I lived in the UK for two years and I really to feel for you all, your country is screwed thanks to Gordon and Co, I just hope we can save Australia before it is too late (although I suspect it is too late already).

I generally hate the Labour Party but not for the reasons stated above. As they hate equally the Scots - but the Scots have been voting for them so long it is like an addiction, an addiction that is destroying my country.

If you look at the genetic legacy of this island you will find the vast majority of it has not canged since the mesolitihic. the problem with the tories is that they are a pro europe party. it was john major who signed the maastrict treaty which was the single biggest give away of power ever. all 3 main parties are comitted to the european union. the only reason they sometimes spout off about europe is to appeal to people who are anti EU but who arnt prpared to vote for an anti europe party. immigration, or as the EU like to call it "the freedom of movement of people within member states" is the very cornerstone of the european project, therefore if you want to control our borders again, it can only happen if britain once again becomes an independant nation and leaves the EU. westminster no longer make the rules in this country, europe does. if we do make a law, the EU has the right to overule it, and it doesnt stop there. once the lisbon treaty goes through, it becomes a self amending treaty, which means it can change the content in it without approval from national government!
dont get me wrong, id like the tories in power just to get rid of these left wing tossers, but i promise you, you will hardly notice the difference between the 2.

Labour is not great but its definitely the lesser of two evils. Just read on the BBC website about new legislation of the social life of teachers, no suprise there it got bizarre a long time ago.

Hope for an early general election and the removal of Labour, I hear that this new Labour got in in the 1st place on a rather apathetic vote (20% of the country?) why was this? Complacency? Lack of interest in politics? I would like to know I think it would be good to find out.

Maybe there should be education on politics, how a democracy works, its principals, voting and its significance, how democracy was created and what it cost to make it. As part of a small addition to the curriculum of say the 5th year at secondary schools. It could be part of the module that teaches them stuff about mortgages, bank accounts, how to look after your money etc. Like just 30 minutes or an hour a week or something, who knows.

I just had an argument with my parents about their ignorant and rosy view of the Labour party. They are all about 'supporting the working man'. And as a working class person I do not disgree with this (somewhat obscure) view. But I don't think the Labour Party has delievered with their promises. I do not see how the working man is supported when a person working full time on min wage can bring home less than someone who does not work & is on benefits.

I'm all for a redistributive society. It's good that we support people in need & I do not object to supporting asylum seekers. However, I hate the fact that some people take advantage of this & sit on their arses all day long while others work to support their lifestyle. I do not think it's fair that a teen mum will automatically get given a house while. My parents are unshakable Labour suporters but may I also add that my father is practically illiterate & my mum was a teen mum whose only aspiration after leaving school was to get knocked up by anyone. And I know my girls my own age who are like this too. Perhaps the problem lies in the education system. If state schools are still churning out no hopers who will only go on to reproduce more no hopers in life then I might aswell vote for the Tories. Life might be tougher for the 'working' man but perhaps the 'working man ' might get off their arse and actually do some work to improve the situation.
